I’m just like you, only I’ve had a more difficult start

Jana, Jinka, and Nikol are three women who, due to external circumstances or complicated family background, experienced homelessness and housing insecurity. Through a children’s home or caravan settlement, their life journeys eventually led them to the organization Jako doma – Homelike. Despite a difficult start, they aren’t giving up on their dreams of work and stable housing. This short documentary about a unique Czech social service shows how it’s possible to support women who have found themselves on the margins of society.
